Since the beginning of 2004, Bejing Local Taxation Bureau have been strengthening the study and application of the predication function of SPSS stastitics software, and meanwhile the bureaus in each district and county have been tightening the supervision on tax source, thus the prediction are improving steadily. The average prediction error rate in the first quater was only 4.4%, ranking two in the state local taxatioin system, and only 0.5% higher than the first place, Shanghai Local Taxation Bureau. The State Administration of Taxation gave commendation to Beijing Local Taxation Bureau in its document.
