Since the first taxation service vlounteers team was set up on March 5, 2004, the first batch of 300 taxation service volunteers have, in principle of “understand pubic feeling, care about public wills, exclude public anxiety and remove public difficulties”, provided services to over 200 particular taxpayer groups free of charge by means of hotlines, door to counsultation, deputy, interview and so on. These services, including over 30 itmes such as tax laws propaganda, policies consulation, taxation tutorship, legal assistance, procurement service of invoice, agency of registration, delivery of tax-related materials and so on, have received good comments from all circles. From June 1 to 3, Dongcheng and Chaoyang held the second seminar of futher promoting the taxation service volunteers activities. The experts and scholars from all circles like the Youth Central Committee, the State Administration of Taxation, State Development Planning Commission, Capital Spiritual Civilization Office, etc. attended this seminar and spoke highly of the construction of the taxation service volunteers organization and the work on taxation voluntary service.
