In order to further improve the quality of tax services and provide taxpayers with more direct, more efficient, more individualized and better tax services, Beijing Local Taxation Bureau determined to establish, from May 10, 2005, a free 10M taxpaying mailbox for each enterprise that has registered in Beijing Local Taxation Bureau and paid tax according to laws, and send to them free tax-concerning short messages via mobile phones. The taxpayer enterprises may use the free mailbox and receive free tax-concerning short messages. Those taxpayers who want to receive tax-concerning short messages may register their numbers of mobile phones in their competent taxation bureaus or tax stations. Beijing Local Taxation Bureau will aperiodically send latest tax policies, regulations, tax-concerning maters to the mailboxes of taxpayer enterprises or in short message manner.
