We have received your Request on Application for Tax Exemption of Representative Offices of Foreign Enterprises as Non-profit Agents (Jing Di Shui Fa (2004) No. 184. According to prevailing tax laws and the Notice of State Administration Concerning Strengthening the Tax Management to Representative Offices of Foreign Enterprises (Gui Shui Fa (1996) No. 165), we approve, after verification, to exempt the following 33 permanent representative offices of foreign enterprises from income tax and operating tax.
