| Notification on Implementing Tax Control System for Road and Freshwater Freightage Invoices

Respectable Taxpayers in Road and Freshwater Freightage Industry:
According to the requirements of the State Administration of Taxation on implementing nationwide the tax control system for road and freshwater freightage invoices, the tax control system has been deployed as of Nov. 1, 2006, and the new version of freightage invoices with tax control code will be adopted by all taxpayers till Jan. 1, 2007, when the old version and the Nationwide Uniform Freight Invoice for Joint Transport Industry will stop circulating simultaneously. The old version of freightage invoices issued after Jan. 1, 2007 will not be taken as deduction certificate for value-added tax all over the country.
At present, all local tax authorities in the city are engaged in this work on schedule, and relative taxpayers are kindly asked to give good cooperation and support. According to the work schedule of the tax authorities, taxpayers should procure tax control instruments and the new version of freight invoices, and make initial registration of their information, ensuring smooth transition of their businesses.
